Jimmybeijng2014 Posted March 16, 2016 Share Posted March 16, 2016 how are you there guys :D ,i am from China,need some hleps ! i get this unit mainly for gigs without real guitar amps,in China,we have the PA system(usually instruments-->di-->mixer--speakers) for most of the living band stuff,and i think hd500x suits me better than GT100. my gears here:2i2 sound card,a laptop,and monitor,so can i get the sound exactly like playing live in the situation i mentioned above by inputting 1/4 out to the "line in" jack of my 2i2? i think there must be some a/d d/a theories,since i don't have a mixer,so i can't do any kind of tests,so what's your sugestion?my english is not good,hope you understand what i'm talking about :) thanks!!!!! DunedinDragon Posted March 16, 2016 Share Posted March 16, 2016 The accuracy of your sound will be more dependent on the monitor you're using than the 2i2. Using the 1/4 out into the 212 should be an accurate representation of what will happen with the live mixer, but unless you have a pretty decent speaker you won't really hear the same thing as what the PA puts out.
