Cabling for using 500HD into 2 Amps?

Hi,i'm back to 2 using amps,i've been using the HD left output into Combo front of a single amp.

I now have a second Amp which has a send/return section,any suggestions on the best way to Cable,to use both amps?

I'm assuming you're happy with the sound of the Combo amp and don't want to mess with that.

Do you want the same HD FX on both amps?

Do you want to use the preamp of the 2nd amp?

The answer to these questions will help guide our recommendations.

The FX out on the POD is a TRS

This means you can divide the TRS into two TS outs one for each amp.

You could also easily solder to get more length than what is commercially available

The returns are L R on the POD so no need there.

It's going to be difficult to use one amp as a combo and the other using FX returns.  You're best bet is to use them both the same way or use just one.

What you need to do is use the left 1/4" out for the combo amp, and the right 1/4" out for the other amp, create a amp setup with no amp on one side and pan that hard left in the mixer, set up the second amp with a preamp model and pan that hard right at the mixer, job done!

Thanks,guys.I'll digest the info & start plugging in,i didn't reply to pfsmiths post,because i'm not really clear what i'm trying to achieve,i'm turning out to be useless in getting to grips with MFX pedals,this is my second attempt with a major brand & i just get lost,but on the bright side,i'm still alive & gigging. :)
