johnmccorcle Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 While playing music or audio from my Macbook (Yosemite OSX 10.10.5), I get randomly interrupted audio cut outs for about .5-1 second that sounds like static noise. It almost seems synonymous with or when a webpage refreshes.. but sometimes, it will happen at random. I have updated all of my drivers, software on both the POD HD X unit and my Macbook, but it still continues to occur. Also, USB Audio Streaming buffer size is set to "extra small".. but it still feels to me like there's a struggle for processing power or something going on. Any ideas? As a last resort, I've considered upgrading my OSX from Yosemite to El Capitan, but I thought I would check in here first. Any advice, info or help would be MUCH appreciated! Playing music audio on my macbook pro to monitors connected to POD HD500X and occasionally the audio drops for half a second or so. Have tried switching usb ports and even replaced the usb cable. But still getting this issue from time to time. I would expect Line 6 engineers to create some tools and add logging and be able to diagnose what causing the issue. And suggest a fix.
