l3g10n79
Hi all After much scouring the interwebs I don't seem to get a definitive answer for this. Is there a way to create a custom tone on the Amplify remote app and assign it to a user defined bank on the FBV Shortboard MKII? Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated
silverhead
The short board does not store any tones. It is a controller for (in your case) whatever AMPLIFi device you are using with the remote app. So what you want to search for is how to save/store a custom tone from the remote app to your AMPLIFi device. There are several AMPLIFi devices and the details may be device specific. I would check the FAQs here (under the Support tab above) for your device, or search the AMPLIFi user forum here. Once the tone/preset is stored on the device you can use the short board footswitches to navigate the device and select the preset.
l3g10n79
Thanks for that reply. It turns out that by goofing around enough with it I managed to figure it out. My problem was the interface of the remote app is a little clunky with all the hidden menus, specifically the options to save to hardware. Once I saw the shortboard reflected the tone set by the app, it all clicked into place. Much obliged to you!
