I purchased a Relay G50 Digital Wireless Guitar System and upon receiving it, I opened it up, connected the receiver to my amp and the transmitter to my instrument and everything worked great. I was happy until today when I tried to use it for practice. I turned it on just like last time and I got no sound. I have tried the steps to switch the RF modes and have switched them multiple times with no success. I'm curious about this said "scanning" process. I see comments that you have to scan for clear channels, but nothing on what that process is in practice. I'm assuming you are saying you have to change the channel on the receiver then change the channel on the transmitter one at a time until you are successful in transmitting and receiving a signal. If that's the case, I have tried that and have had no success.
I am powering my RSX12 receiver with a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 plus. My transmitter says I'm running firmware 2.00. The power light is illuminated on my receiver and after a short time, (a second or two) no other lights, (audio is red; transmitter signal is red; transmitter battery is green) are staying on. My transmitter has a blue light on for the power and when I play the instrument the green light is illuminated for the audio.
I'm not sure what happened, but I have spent a few hours here trying to figure it out by going through the owner manual, knowledge base and forums. This has been rather frustrating experience and I am looking for an answer to figure out my problem before I return this and go back to using cables.
