The smart harmony only lets you go to plus 9 in a specific key. Just looking to double the lower part, 1 octave higher. How can I do this? pianoguyy Posted June 5, 2016 Share Posted June 5, 2016 differently than the Pitch Glide FX which is expressed in half steps the Smart Harmony FX main parameter expresses the generic interval name, which in this case should be +8 (octave) Right. 12 frets = an octave but you are only play 8 of the 12 in a scale. A +9th, in the key of C is a D. and a -9th is a B. Which is more than an octave. It is the equivalent of +14 and -13. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
