Smart Harmony Question

Trying to make a patch for Bon Jovi You Give Love A Bad Name. The lead guitar is playing

1 octave higher. The smart harmony only lets you go to plus 9 in a specific key. Just looking

to double the lower part, 1 octave higher. How can I do this?

differently than the Pitch Glide FX which is expressed in half steps the Smart Harmony FX main parameter expresses the generic interval name, which in this case should be +8 (octave)

Right.

12 frets = an octave

but you are only play 8 of the 12 in a scale. A +9th, in the key of C is a D. and a -9th is a B. Which is more than an octave. It is the equivalent of +14 and -13.
