Line6 edit and ipad

It's a bummer for sure - the iPad would be great for on-stage tweaks.

NO IT WOULDN'T.

Running the Pod while connected to EDIT makes for a horrendous playing experience.

EDIT is an editor, it is not meant for live performances.

It will slow down responsiveness of the Pod, and it could possibly crash depending on how it is used.

A mobile (I prefer Android) version of EDIT, would be good for backstage or between set tweaks. But certainly not on-stage tweaks.

Indeed, leave tweaking to backstage or preferably home or rehearsals, not on stage.

Would you start tweaking your pedals and amps part way through a set? If you were in the audience, would that kind of thing just annoy you?

George Lucas has said:

(not an exact quote) You don't release a movie when it is finished. It is finished when you release it. If you are trying to make a movie perfect, you will tweak it forever and then never release it. You set a date to release the movie, and you work on it right up until that day, and then you hand it over.

And THAT is exactly how music should be.

Once you step on stage, you do not have time to change. You are done working. It is time to show off.

A playwrite isn't handing out new scripts in the middle of a play. Showtime is simply too late, it is what it is.

Guns 'N Roses, particularly Axl Rose, spent 17 years trying to make Chinese Democracy perfect. 'nuff said.
