I'm having trouble getting sound out of my pod hd500x. Right now I have my guitar>pod>umc202hd interface connected via xlr cable>mac>reaper daw. I also have 2 krk rocket 5s connected to the interface. On the pod I've configured input to guitar and output to studio/direct. On the Mac settings I configured the sound input/output to run through my interface and did the same in the settings in my daw. I've already registered my pod through the website and ran line 6 monkey and updated everything on there. I've tried finding step by step videos on how to connect these and still can't get anything out of it. Thanks for your time and hope to hear back.

Well if you don't have any sound out of the HD500 with headphones, then something is wrong there!  You should be able to hear your guitar!

Just to be clear, you have the Behringer UMC hooked up to your computer via USB, correct?  And it is selected as the audio input and output device in Reaper?

Yes the interface is connected through USB and I have the audio input and output selected through reaper. I'm able to get sound running the guitar straight into the interface and into the daw.

I tried isolating just the guitar into the pod and listen through headphones and I'm still unable to get sound.

Line 6 support was able to get back to me and I laid out all of these details and they suggested that I take it back and have it replaced. I might try and have one of them see if they can get it to work before exchanging just to make sure.

Thanks for the replies and appreciate your suggestions!
