gfpropst
Hey all! I've recently acquired my 500x and l2m frfr speaker, and I have a pretty simple question; what's the best way to connect these two for optimal quality? Currently I'm connecting them with an old 1/4" speaker cable that's on the fritz so I'm looking to buy a new solid cable. I saw some mentions of a TRS 1/4" to XLR cable, instead of simply a XLR to XLR or a 1/4" to 1/4". Can I get some insight on this? Thanks guys! dx2ylhv1a
You should use the Line 6 Link connection From 500x to L2M. I use a 20 ft XLR cable for this. It allows you to switch speaker modes on the L2M.

L6 Link does not support it's use, so in that case you're stuck with either the 1/4" or XLR. You'll get global EQ, but lose the ability to control the L2's speaker mode from the POD. Just boils down to what's more important to you. Either way it should sound great.
