G90 issues/questions

I've just acquired a used G90 & TBP12. I've only had a quick play in the house (used to use a G30 live).

It all works, but...

1) Both units only show 12 channels

2) When I switch on the TBP 12 I don't see any RF values

3) When I press Select & then Value I get the channel number. And that's it! If I let go of Select it carries on displaying the channel selected & nothing else. I can happily select any of the 12 channels available

Since it all works I'm not overly worried, but I'm a nosey bugger & don't like not knowing everything that's going on & not being able to select it all - even if I don't want to use it.

If I switch it on & hold down the select button it displays V1.02

Any ideas?

I have bought a line 6 G90 and the issue i am having is with transmitter that came with it. When ever i move it SHUTS OFF!? The unit was new out of the box worked great for a few months. But now if i move it shuts off then i have to tap it and the power comes back on but the second i move it shuts off again? I tested the batteries and put brand new ones in and that not it. So its killing my live shows because i have to stand perfectly still. Which kind of voids out the reason of having a wireless.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Trolley - sounds like you have firmware prior to the "RF2" release.  you need an XDV 75 to update if you want the latest, but most Line 6 repair shops offer this upgrade service as well.  personally I like running the latest software in RF1, as it uses four carrier waves (rather than two for RF2) - the product specialists sometimes call this the "kill em all mode".

Ilynnnathaniel - sounds like there may be an issue with your TBP12 pack, try a different pack to see if you have the same situation.  All Relay or XDV TPB6 & 12 transmitters are interchangeable (assuming you have recent software).  I suspect that the battery door may be coming slightly ajar when you move, which is powering the unit off - but please confirm with another transmitter.  if you purchased the unit new you should connect with your Line 6 distributor to look into a warranty repair.
