Oyster38N
Has anyone tried the Firehawk 1500 as a FRFR monitor for Helix using the XLR i/o? Is there a consensus on tone quality? Does the Firehawk 1500 standup against the usual suspect in the market?
spikey
Im using that pair- its awesome sauce tone wise, and I don't have to modify it's tone when using it with my Mackie 824 powered studio monitors (which are also FRFR). PLUS- just incase Helix fubars on me (it has NOT yet) I have a good sounding backup amp that is as soft and / or loud as I want it to be. Heres a clip and sounds thru the computer stuff (from the FH-1500) isn't the best- sorry...
