eayottes
Hi,I've got a Line 6 studio GX plugged into a Windows 10 PC. I have ASIO4All installed. I also have run the Line 6 Monkey to make sure that the latest drivers for the studio GX are installed. If I try to use the Bias FX Pro (64 bit) standalone and set "device = ASIO", then I get the following error message when selecting "Output = ASIO GX": "ASIO driver open failure". See attached photo.Has anyone else encoutered this annoyance and if so, how did you resolve the issue ?Thanks in advance !
aziarg
I have the same exact problem. I can run it with ASIO4ALL but then Bias will take exclusive control of my toneport gx and I won't be able to run any other audio out of that interface into my speakers. Triryche
I currently do not have BIAS, but I have seen similar behavior with other non-DAW standalone applications that use ASIO, as well as with other non Line6 ASIO devices. Do you have another application using the GX drivers running like a DAW or that previously was running? Try disabling the GX, then re-enable it before opening BIAS. You might also want to try uninstalling ASIO4ALL and reboot your pc to make sure it's not a driver conflict.
GansAles
So, any update on this problem? Have the same issue - Windows10 x64, POD GX. Bias FX crashes at the moment i choose GX as device in BIAS FX audio settings. I have no asio4all, GX drivers is up to date. I have another interface (Yamaha THR) and it works fine with Bias Fx.
