Gkf9
I'm thinking of buying a FH to replace my Amplifi due to recently buying a JTV69S for the Variax integration. Just wondering if I can play music from my laptop through it whilst playing along to the music too, but not streaming. I find the bluetooth connectivity very patchy when playing through my Amplifi. Sometimes it's ok, but most time it freezers and stutters, these are music video lessons I've saved to my phone, so they are on my phone and not streaming from You Tube etc. Just want to play songs hard wired to the FH, is this possible? TIA.
silverhead
Yes. You just need to connect your Firehawk to your computer via USB. The Firehawk becomes your computer's soundcard and the audio from your computer will be birected to the Firehawk outputs. Note that the audio has to come from your computer, not your iPhone. silverhead
You might also be able to route your iPhone audio output directly to the Firehawk using its FX Loop. Place the FX Loop at the very end of the Firehawk signal chain and use adapters to connect the iPhone* headphone outputs to the stereo FX Returns. You may also have to use a dummy plug in the FX Sends to activate the Loop. * Not iPhone 7 since the standard headphone output has been replaced. But you could purchase the adapter separately. Thanks, Apple.
ZibiR
(...) Place the FX Loop at the very end of the Firehawk signal chain (...) Good idea, but the app does not allow to move the cube "FX Loop" as very end, because 'Reverb' cube could be only very last one or just before Amp, and it change sound :-(
