marc_toker Posted November 7, 2016 Share Posted November 7, 2016 Hi I got a Tone Port UX1 I'v authoized device and pc and downloaded pod 2 but I dont have a activation code as I wasnt given one as I got this from ebay. I talked to a few mates that have it and they should It was free from Line 6 just had to reg the UX1 and then pod 2 would work but it's not. so any idea how to get a activation code if I have to buy a key thats fine where do I get one ? BillBee Posted November 7, 2016 Share Posted November 7, 2016 You won't have an activation code for PF. Once registered the UX1 is the authorization dongle that is tied to PF. Your first hurdle will be is it authorized for PF2 or PF1. Connect the UX and start PF go to the "About" screen under Help. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Triryche Posted November 9, 2016 Share Posted November 9, 2016 +1 to BillBee The red faced Toneports are typically PF1 and the black faced POD Studios are PF2. There are exceptions for both depending on the date the unit was registered for the first time, IIRC the cutoff was Oct 2009 Toneports registered for the first time after that date have PF2 (not very common) whereas POD Studios registered before that date have PF2 (also not very common).
