Hi !

I have a Friedman Brown Eye which i want to control with Helix . I did all the buttons configuration for switching channels  . My problem is, it does not affect the boost switch . I have 1 tip - amp switching and 2 Ring for Boost when i am on the dry channel .

The thing is , it used to work before , but after the firmware upgrade it does not .

I wanted to attach the patch but it seems i can't.

Thanks for help

Best Regards

i have tried to get the amp switching working for my mesa dual rec,it just doesnt work.

i believe alot of users have the same problem on most amps.

i had to buy a voodoo labs control switcher to make mine work, very disapointed in line 6,even my old boss gt10 could switch my mesa!!!

What method are you using to switch channels? in command center? via Instance or assigning a footswitch. I found out that using Instance have problems, I am controlling right now a 3 channel amp with 3 footswitch assinged in command center, then  I recall this footswichs in snapshot mode.

The trick is that "by default" Helix and the amp has a communication channel assigned, which is Tip+RIng, in my case is the green channel.

1-So I created 3 Footswitches in command center for each tip, ring and tip+ring.

2- In snapshot mode:

1st snapshot for the clean (green which is Tip+ring) has to be set without any action, empty, No footswitch assigned. and it will recognize my green channel.

The 2nd snapshot is the Ring (red).

The 3er is the tip (blue).

PRONTO!

My amp is a Mesa Electra Dyne via TRS with 3 modes, green, Blue and red, it works great with this setup.
