For the last 20 years I've played through a Marshall half stack with my own pedal board. I no longer play live, downsized a bit, and a friend of mine who manages a Guitar Center recommended that I get a Spider V. I love it !! The presets are amazing and just what I need to play with friends. I quickly realized that I needed a pedalboard to switch between presets and purchased the MKII Shortboard. This is where I run into problems. I simply want to program 4 or 5 presets from the Spider V to the MKII. The user manuals that I have found here online do not seem to give that information. Can anyone tell me how to simply take, say the metal rhythm preset on the Spider V and have that be Button "A" on the Shortboard? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fflbrgst Posted November 17, 2016 Share Posted November 17, 2016 The Shortboard is just a controller - you save the preset on the amp - to one of the User Bank locations. You then use the up/down buttons on the Shortboard to change banks, and the ABCD buttons to select from the 4 presets saved to those bank locations.
