tormod1
I'm trying to dial in a great Uni-Vibe sound, but I can't seem to get the sound I want. The sound I want is your typical Robin Trower-vibe, so can anyone help me with settings..?
parkinthepark
Based on this video, Trower plays his Fulltone Deja 2 in Chorus mode, with the Intensity set at about 60%, controlling the speed with the expression pedal. To mimic that, here's how I'd start setting up a patch: Speed: Expression Pedal Depth: 60% Feedback: 50% Volume Sense: 0% Mix: 80% Adjust from there. Keep in mind that setting the Mix to 100% initiates Vibrato mode, which is not how Trower sets his Vibe. Trower sets his Vibe up first in the chain, so you should start there as well.
jmillion
I just worked on this earlier today. Speed: Expression Pedal (min 10% max 80%) Depth: 100% Feedback: 50% Volume Sense: 0% Mix: 75% This is a little more Rotovibe/Zakk Wylde to my ears. Hope this works for someone. smrybacki
The real trick to Trower tone is putting the Vibe first in the chain, before distortion....
bayoubill
I found the sound I wanted on the X3 but I can't get it on the 500x. UNIVIBE. To hear it hit click on "univibe". You can hear it in this song on the melody during the verses. What I ending up doing was hook up my Roger Mayer univibe as outside effect. I still can't find that sound in the 500x.
