Wah on Amplifi amps?

I've owned the amplifi pedal board.  Liked it alright but sold it when I got a Helix.  Now I've got an Amplifi 75 out for delivery along with their free wireless connection kit.  Thinking it might be better for my needs.  My question is, what methods are people using to incorporate an actual wah pedal or expression into the system?  The traditional way?  Or can mods and wah be controlled via expression pedal?

You can have a wah/volume pedal if you attach an FBV3/Shortboard MKII/Express MKII board to the AmpliFi. If you only use the built-in pedal, then you can press hard toe-down to toggle between volume control/wah. If you have a board with an external expression pedal jack (FBV 3/SHortboard MKII), then you can attach an additional expression pedal and have one control volume and the other control the wah. You can also assign the expression pedal to one parameter within an effects block (according to the AmpliFi Remote Manual), but I have not tried it myself.

If you are considering getting a pedal controller for the AmpliFi, I would recommend the FBV3 or Shortboard MKII over the Express MKII, as they offer full control of the AmpliFi (you can bank up and down and turn individual effects on/off), while the Express MKII only allows you to switch tones ABCD within the bank, but you cannot bank up and down or turn individual effects on/off.

You can use the pedal board, or there is also a Auto-Wah in the Synth pedal section, I use it and it's pretty good.

HEAVILY dependent on gain staging, if it sounds weak or bad, adjust the volume of your guitar and the Q/Sensitivity settings. Start this the guitar, if not there, dime the guitar and try the other settings

Thanks so much for everyone's input.  I guess I'll just be using "autowah" if anything because I bought the Amplifi 75 for ease of use in practicing in my living room without having to set up a bunch of 'stuff'.  In other words: "clean & simple".  I already have a Helix w/stagesource speakers and numerous amps/pedalboards etc.   Having yet another accessory pedal board is out of the question for me.  Even the free Relay G10 that came with it is more fuss than I thought by the time I have to plug it into a power source and amp so I'm going to enjoy it for a purpose other than with the Amplifi.  (In other words: "the wife doesn't want a bunch of crap sitting around her living room".  [grin])
