What mode are you in? Stomp Mode? Are you connected to the Editor? Did you do the Global Reset after performing the update?

Sorry for answering your question with a bunch of questions, but just need some more details before I can give you any type of meaningful reply.

Not sure if this is the issue, but for stomp switches that switch more than one block, each switch has a "current" block, and the light is on when that current block is on. You can cycle the current block setting through each of the blocks the switch affects by touching it, not pressing it. You'll see the current block highlight in the flow diagram.

If this is happening with switches that control only one block, I don't know what's going on, never had that happen. Some people have a switches become unreliable, but that means it doesn't actually switch anything, which you're saying it does, just doesn't light up. Right?

ya only controlling one block. if i touch the switch with my finger it will light up. it happens with the new factory presets and with the fremen big pack presets

Had the same/similar glitch on a gig - stomp mode, only 1 assignment per switch - footswitches didn't light up, but the blocks on the screen did. Also, scribble strip captions didn't reflect preset change. Rebooted, then it was fine again.

Same here. Noticed it when going through the new presets.

Light on foot switch works but the actual blocks on the helix screen don't light up until you physically select the block with the joystick. Then they start working.

Pressing a switch that turns on a block doesn't automatically select that block on the Helix screen, never has. Personally I think that's a good thing, I can have the focus on the EQ while I turn other things on and off, for instance.

That's the opposite of what I thought noxdaz10 was saying, but that could be a misinterpretation on my part. I thought he was saying the the block DID enable and disable, but the switch light didn't indicate that.

Need a bit of clarification here to best help, if anyone can.

No sorry I don't mean a switch goes to the block, I mean the switch lights up but the actual icon on the screen does not.

So if you switch on a delay the delay is clearly on however the green delay icon on the screen is not. It's a visual thing.

On the editor screen or on the Helix screen itself?

I think he means that the FX block on the Helix signal flow display is not lighting up to reflect that the FX has been turned on by the footswitch. He is not talking about the FX being selected for editing with its parameters shown below the signal flow.

Normally when a block is turned on/off by a footswitch its icon is shown in the Helix signal chain display as lit (on) or dark (off). I think this is what is not happening for him.

Yes exactly same as above. Here's s pic. As you can see the chorus is selected but the icon on the screen is not lit up. Seems to be random and as you cycle through some blocks it fixes itself. Dial up the "say it ain't so" patch in factory 2 and see if you get the same results.

Weird!  I can't replicate this behavior. I dialed up the 'Say It Ain't So' (Factory 2, 26A) preset and it behaves perfectly normally. However there seem to be two users here reporting the same thing. Seems like more than coincidence. I wonder what is different in your setups?  By any chance did you guys restore bundles? If you did, you are looking at a Factory preset restored from the previous version rather than a preset from the latest firmware. That would be a bit alarming though as it might imply this could impact other restored presets.

If it were me I would be backing up and doing a global reset and restore of setlists, not bundles. Bundle restores overwrite the Factory presets and the Templates. If that didn't work it would be on to re-flashing my firmware. Have you guys made any changes to these presets or have anything new set in the global settings?

That has happened to me when connected to the Editor.

Hmm, I wonder what the common factor is here. I also was connected to the Editor and could not get this bug to happen. Hopefully others will weigh in on this one. Is this happening on multiple presets and User presets as well as Factory presets?

Happens on my own presets as well as factory. For instance the wah I have set to come on when I press down on the expression pedal but once I do the wah works as normal but the light stays on even when wah is off. Once I click through a few snapshots the wah lights on and off as normal. I did the entire install process correct and reset helix using the 2 middle buttons on bottom row.

sometimes after the 2.10 update, i hit a footswitch and it doesnt show up as selected on the helix. but it still works , just doesnt show up on the helix. weird. help!

Once I save the preset it works.  And sometimes after I save it I move to another preset then back to the problematic one and it works.  Before that I have the same symptom
