jbailes
For those of you who have actually owned any of the amps that are modeled in the spider IV (mesa dual rec, marshall plexi, etc), how close does the spider IV come to the real thing? The tube amps I've owned are a fender twin, a bassman and a 5150 II, but of course, the 5150 is not on this amp.
senanimach9
I know the Spider IV doesn't have this amp but with the Clean Red + Tube Drive I've been able to replicate my 6505+ almost perfectly fwiw.
jbailes
It's interesting how the clean red is supposed to be modeled after the clean tone on a Marshall, but seems to have the warmth of a 100w fender twin. Very smooth full tone.
Natedog_37
Had a friend come out and hear my band play. Said nice new marshall. He was floored when I said it was a Line6. I think it does a good job.

Natedog_37
Yeah I was very happy. It was just a clean red channel with a flange FX. Funny but he has a great ear. Might have converted him to a solid state amp.
