evolz Posted December 29, 2016 Share Posted December 29, 2016 Hi, I have my POD HD 500x connect to my tube amp via the 4 cabe method. If I place a tube screamer in the begining of my signal chain on the POD will it accomplish the same result as if I had a Maxon/Ibanez tube screamer pedal hooked up? silverhead Posted December 29, 2016 Share Posted December 29, 2016 Yes, placing an FX pedal in the HD500X signal chain before the FX Loop in 4CM is structurally equivalent to placing an analog pedal between your guitar and the HD500X input. J_V_RO Posted December 29, 2016 Share Posted December 29, 2016 I know this has nothing to do with this thread (because it's the helix and it's a different topic, etc...) but if you check this video comparing line 6 modeled vs analog pedals looks interesting (around minute 1:30 is the screamer).
