Lonerg550 Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 Hello all , I am running into issues with the above setup when trying to create any Clean tones at a decent level. Gear : HD500x Firmware Version 2.26 DT50 When creating the dirty / clean I am keeping with the Amp profiles used on the Head and selecting the relevant Pre Amp Head from the HD500 Unit . The Treadplate dirty tones are all fine , but trying to get a Clean tone with any sort of volume does not seem possible , I am have to EQ the Clean tones which then distort the sound. I have the Input set to Guitar / Varix ( Auto ) , The Amp output set to Power amp Stack My Guitar is an Ibanex RG500 with Bare Knuckle ( Steve Stevens ) Any tips advice on where I may be going wrong ? spaceatl Posted January 19, 2017 Share Posted January 19, 2017 The model controls change a bit depending on the model....Especially the Fenders....If you are using a fender model, dime the channel volume and use the drive to set the level....not sure if that is your issue or not....Make sure you are not in LVM Mode (Master pulled out)...
