dalewatts
I need to figure out how to keep my distortion on full, when volumn pedal is not fully down. When I raise the pedal, the tone becomes clean,,,
BillBee
Assign the expression pedal to something other then the gain on the amp.
pianoguyy
First, let's make sure you understand - it is not a volume pedal. Nor is it a wah pedal. It is an expression pedal. It is capable of controlling any effect. **my mistake. while correct for some models, it is not correct on every model. The OP did not say which model he has. I have two suggestions: 1. Don't assign distortion to the expression pedal. 2. Put the volume pedal AFTER the amp. That will keep the "tone" while adjusting volume.
BillBee
If its not a patch you built a common slot saver was to assign the exp pedal to the vol on the amp model. So fire up L6 Edit and take a peek at what you have. It's not a volume pedal but it could be :)
