enginayd
Hello there, I've dusted off my pod xt live laying around and attached it to my rig as an external processing unit. You know that exciting feeling about re-discovering and old gear and integrating it to your new rig, don't you! Anyway, it works just fine expect a few minor problems. I have a few questions. 1) Line 6 Monkey cannot detect my Flash version (which is up to date btw) 2) Line 6 Edit cannot detect nor manually connect to my device. (Note that Pod XT Live is recognized as an audio and MIDI interface by the Mac itself) Logs: Testing for supported devices: CustomTone app server: started on port 25050 PODxt PODxt Pro PODxt Live Vetta II Combo Vetta II Head Bass PODxt Bass PODxt Pro Bass PODxt Live Flextone III HD147 POD 2.0 POD 2.0 Pro Flextone II PODxt Live init max progress = 86 L6HW Device connected L6HW device 'PODxt Live' (#0, ID=0x00004650) connected < OUT - F0 00 01 0C 03 0E 00 F7 - (8 bytes) L6HW Device connected L6HW device 'PODxt Live Variax Interface' (#1, ID=0x00004650) connected Device init failed! Even though I'm authorized with Line 6 License Manager, these VSTs say, I'm not authorized and only allow me to use a few models. Is that the expected behaviour? 4) What would be the best workflow for me for editing Pod XT Live patches? I don't want to bend over down my table all the time!
