amschaaf Posted March 18, 2017 Share Posted March 18, 2017 I got the spider v 60 watt and so far I am far from impressed. Ive messed around with settings but everything sounds very processed sounding. I notice that in the amp settings under cabinet you can turn the cabinet sim off. I was wondering if anyone had thought of replacing the full range speaker with like a celestion 10 inch speaker and then turning the cabinet sim off? I play my amp through my headphones with sounds killer and they are $150 a pair and I think they're German models and begins with an s. When I sit there after playing on the headphones and playing out loud it sounds like crap so my question it has the potential of sounding good but the speaker definitely has to be replaced?
