POD Farm and Scarlet 2i2?

Good Afternoon,

 

I have been looking for an answer and I cant seem to find one. I have had my Line 6 GX for years meow and I want to upgrade to the Scarlet 2i2. I know that POD Farm is locked into the Device and will not work unless it's connected to the computer.

 

My question is; what do I have to do to be able to get POD Farm to work with the new interface?

You need to purchase a license for the device independent version of Pod Farm.

Does it have a PF2 plug-in license (typical of the black-faced POD Studios)?

 

If so, depending on your workflow, you may be able to get away with running the plug-in in your DAW and monitor in real-time.

Depends on what you want, the starter for $99 or Platinum for $299?

You can get the Starter and then later upgrade to Platinum.

 

Basically, DO NOT purchase the ones the are for iLok, there are not hardware independent, nonrefundable, and are plug-in only.
