Hey, Line 6.  Can we please have some more Firehawk video tutorials?

There are 3 dozen for the Pod HD range, a score for the Amplifi, 9 for Helix, but only 2 for the Firehawk FX/1500.

Please create more to show users how to create different tones, to explore the different settings, and to get the best out of the Firehawk.

Hi Daniel,

The frequency shelves are the areas which I felt needed either a cut or a boost. In fact I very seldom boost frequencies when eqing guitar tones. It's more common to cut annoying frequencies.

I did another video (POD HD500X) where I explained the parametric eq in a lot more detail and how I "found" the frequency shelves that I felt needed work. I know it's not for the Firehawk FX but exactly the same principle applies. In fact the Firehawk was much easier to get tones out of than the HD500X.

Here's the link. I hope this helps.

Using eq the way Peter does is something worth learning, you'll get better at it the more you do it, before long you'll instinctively know roughly which frequencies need to be cut.

You might be doing this already but what helped me was listening to Peters videos on a good quality pair of studio monitor headphones, it was easier to hear what he was getting at.

A simple cut in the right place can really bring a tone to life

Also with regards to tone videos , don't forget that all the amplifi ones are compatible with firehawk, you can build the tone as per the video and then swap the amps/drives for hd ones if you wish, as a final step eq it to get the best out of it
