chopshop7777 Posted September 21, 2013 Share Posted September 21, 2013 Hi all, just got my hd500x and I am pretty impressed with it however for the life of me I cannot figure out how to record it through logic, I am running the Apogee Duet, I chose the pod as the main audio source and I still cannot engage record any help on how to set this up would be greatly appreciated. cheers. oh I got my guitar running through the pod as got the pod hooked up by way of USB to my mac and use the back of the pod for the 1/4 cables of the monitors. ahrens Posted September 22, 2013 Share Posted September 22, 2013 I don't think you need to monitor the POD's 1/4in outputs. Create your stereo Audio track, plug in your POD USB. It will be your Input device, but the Duet should be your Output device(Preferences>Audio). Use full amp models, Studio direct mode and Speaker emulations. You should be good to go, except for lots of tweaking. I have recorded the 1/4in outputs instead of USB. But I have a DT25 and prefer to mic that setup...
