Mark55
I downloaded PODFarm 2 WIndows 7, got all of my settings right with American classic, Compressor, and Noise gate but when I talk the bars at the top left and top right do not move. I do not have an interface or anything like that, I'm simply just using a headset with a mic all in one with a USB. Did I do a setting wrong or do I have to have an interface to even talk through PODFarm ?
Triryche
I have never used the free trial version of POD Farm 2, but I’m pretty sure it is standalone only, no plug-in. The normal usage of PF2 is either with an ASIO (or Core Audio on Mac) audio USB interface or as a plug-in within a DAW. Not sure if there is a workaround for your configuration.
fflbrgst
You have to set the input on PodFarm (mixer) to the USB mic.
Brazzy
Is the OP using the standalone PodFarm? The post reads like the OP doesn't have an ASIO interface. Like fflbrgst posted it should be as easy as setting the inputs in PodFarm to the USB headset combo.
Triryche
I'm assuming the OP either downloaded regular PF2 software which is useless without a POD Studio / Toneport, activated the free trial of PF2, or purchased PF2 hardware independent software which can be used with most ASIO USB interfaces or as a plug-in. When using POD Farm with a POD Studio, I think the only inputs available in the Mixer view would be the physical inputs on the POD Studio, I do not think a USB mic is an available option.
