Hello Guru's,

I have recently bought the XD-V35 hand held for my church.  I had to do sound for a wedding a couple weekends ago.  Song was being done and the lead vocal had the XD-V35 while the background vocals all had wired Shure SM58's.  Tee volume for the lead was all the way up and could not get any louder, meanwhile the backgrounds were only half way and were too loud.  Is there anything I can do to get more power?

P.S. - I am also patched to the mixing board via XLR cable rather than 1/4 inch

Thanks

Sounds like you've accidentally plugged into a line input.  XDV must be plugged into a mic input, then just adjust the trim/gain control

I'm wondering, Jeff...

If you could post the type and model number of your mixer, as I suspect you may benefit from a more detailed "here's how" guide from us, but we can only provide that if we can perform a virtual "look over your shoulder" from that information.
