Loreth
So I have read a little about pod routing and I just wanted to make sure I am getting this right. My setup is POD into 2 monitor speakers and inputs set to guitar/variax. First question is - are these mixer settings virtually the same if I'm not putting anything into Channels A/B? (by a quick patch test it would seem so to me) And the second one is - if I want to control mix of AC Flanger, which doesn't have it by default, is this a good way to go about it? Put into channel A as seen above + mixer CENTER/CENTER approach and then gradually unmute PATH A in order to get the mix and identical sound in both speakers? And also in general if I want the same sound from both speakers and I put something in one of the channels, then centered pans are the way to go, right? Cause from what I've understood, left side of path A signal will go to speaker L, and right one to speaker R, same thing for path B. Is that correct? pfsmith0
Also, the flanger will add unintended delay in it's path. When mixed with the non-flanged, non-delayed path you'll get an unintended comb filter. For example, a 1msec delay will have a notch at 500 Hz (1/2 period = 1msec), which is right in the middle of getting in the way. Usually people put another FX of some sort in the clear path to help equalize the delays. Switching between paths A/B is not a problem, but mixing/blending the two paths IS a problem. Loreth
Oh wow, I had no idea about the delay. Is there a list anywhere with effects' aproximated delays or is it more of a dynamic thing dependant on effect's settings? Any suggestions on tone-neutral options to add to path B that would help equalize the delay?

Loreth
Alright, I might settle for Analog Flanger after mixer in this case, but this info might definitely come in handy in the future. Thanks for help guys :)
