AudioWaveDasher Posted November 11, 2017 Share Posted November 11, 2017 I bought a hd500x and its stuck the tap/tuner light is blinking and wont turn off. What I wanna do is midi cable it through mt triaxis so my triaxis settings show up in the switching pedal and I can add mods. But I gotta get the thing to work, I havent heard it yet. I want to set it up setlist mode so I can program in certain songs and then customize the effects. Any help or tips would be appreciated... I do enjoy Helix's power switch...and the fact that there's no 6" wall-wart, costing $40 or $50 to replace when it inevitably dies... Yes, anything can break... but some things are far more durable than others, and in this case I'll bet on the rocker switch over a sh!tty, thin wire power supply any day. After 30-ish year's of gear buying, I can't recall a single failed power switch, whereas I have had to replace innumerable comically priced power adapters. pianoguyy Posted December 28, 2017 Share Posted December 28, 2017 Maybe that is where me being a store owner and seeing many devices come in and out, instead of being the owner of individual devices, makes the difference. I see more issues with power buttons and internal power supplies than I do the external devices --- with the exception of user errors, like dropping them and rolling a 200 pound dolly over them.
