Hi All,

what setting is needed to get this effect? I'm currently learning All I Want is You, and am using a Roland Cube 40X with the M5 between it and my guitar. Thanks.

If you just want a shimmer, you could try the Octo Verb effect, but the Edge is also using delay in these songs. The problem is that the M5 can only do one effect at a time. This is where the flexibility of the M9 or M13 is nice because they allow to easily combine different effects.

Time is a train
Makes the future the past
Leaves you standing in the station
Your face pressed up against the glass

Thanks phil_m. I use the delay effect on the Cube 40XL I'm using, along with the BritCombo amp setting that is similar to an AC30. I've now learnt the Slane Castle live version and it sounds pretty good, considering I only have a cheap Squire Strat...

Agree though, the M5 is limited...
