Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio and Helix Native

For about a month they worked great. Now when it loads the sound changes, and when I click on the edit button to bring up the display of Helix Native, the DAW crashes. Windows 10 64 bit. All the other VST' s work with no problem.  Any thoughts?

My initial thoughts given that you say it was running great before would be either that a file has become corrupted, or there is not enough memory, processing power, or disk space on the computer it is running on. I would try reinstalling Native if you check and find all your hardware resources are adequate. If you are running on Windows take a look at Task Manager to see what the memory and CPU usage look like when it crashes your DAW. And of course make sure you have enough disk space so that temp file creation isn't causing any problems. If you have been adding a lot of large files lately you may have run low. Also, did you import your presets from a Helix. If so you might want to try running Native without the presets or different presets to see if it still crashes. I have not heard of specific presets crashing Native but it is one more factor you could troubleshoot.

I think I have it figured out. If I would of read down the forum more I would have seen that someone else had the same trouble. For some reason I have to keep logging in for Native to be authorized. This is very annoying, not every time but mostly every time. I use CCleaner to keep my computer running good and I'm wondering if that's where the problem is originating, ( getting rid of temp files, etc...)   I wish Line 6 would post these problem codes on the forum. That would of made this adventure a lot easier to deal with. Forgive me if they have because I haven't been on here in a while cause I rarely have a problem with any of their products..

I also use Mixcraft Pro 8. I've been having a problem with Helix Native. If I try to make Native active on more than one track, I start getting crackling. As soon as I make Native not active the crackling goes away. I'm sure this is a hardware problem, but I thought my laptop was fairly robust, apparently not.

I have a Velocity Micro with Intel Core I7 2.6ghz, 16 g ram, Win 10 Home 64 bit.

Would more ram help this situation? I don't have a latency problem, and I can record as many tracks with effects, as I want as long as I use my Helix or Katana as the interface. It's just when trying to use Native on more than one prerecorded track that the problem comes up.
