Pod 500x Looper Question

Hey Guys,

 

Hoping you can help me out with a couple questions regarding the pod 500x.

 

1)When I use the looping feature and I want to change to a different patch to solo over it for some reason the loop changes to the new patch as well and doesn't stay on the previous patch I used. Anyone know how to make it so the loop doesn't switch sound patches with me?

2)How do I change sound patches with the foot switches without having to bend over and flick through the preset knob with my hand ?

3) I seem to have like a 1.5 sec delay when the loop repeats. Any way around that?

4) Is there a way to control the volume of a loop you created separately from what you plan playing over it?

 

Unfortunately the manual is a hell of a read so I'm hoping one of ya'll can make life a bit easier for me:)

All you need to read is the looper section of the manual. You can do that more quickly than it would take someone here to answer your questions.

 

The only info that may not be clear in the manual relates to your Q3. The looper has no sense of when you stop playing. It simply records the sound (including silence) from the instant you tap the Record button until the instant you tap the Play button. Any silence you might hear is silence that you put there.
