spaceatl Posted January 19, 2018 Share Posted January 19, 2018 True Bypass is just a marketing term...If it's buffered, it's not a True Bypass....My M-13 has buffers, it's NOT a True Bypass like one would do to an old Cry Baby to get rid of the tone suck in bypass...It's just wire...Anyway, just one of those terms that gets under my skin because it's sorta like an amplifier salesman telling you some amplifier is great because it's Class A... The answer is a real unbuffered True Bypass in a digital device is cost prohibitive...Not impossible, but would add cost with zero benefits...
