gio_mingarelli Posted January 23, 2018 Share Posted January 23, 2018 Hey guys, Ok so right off the bat. I'm fully aware that the UX1 doesn't natively support phantom power! My real question is: if I buy an external 48v power supply will it still work with the UX1? Does anyone here have any real world experience of having done this and having it work perfectly? I read on some other forums that people bought the 48v separately but it still didn't work properly. If this is the case, I'll just go for the UX2. I'd much prefer to keep the setup that I've got now - but this dynamic mic business just isn't great for marketability. Thanks in advance!
