skllmyh
I have a condenser mic connected to Phantom Power. From the output, i plugged in to Line6 GX. But it's not working. Here's the picture.
Gaz_Ham
Is it just the mic you're having trouble with? Does it work with a guitar plugged in? If it works with an instrument plugged in, I don't see why it wouldn't work. What mic are you using? Have you added a preamp/ vocal preset in podfarm? I use the same power unit to power my condenser and it works fine, it still needs a preamp applying in podfarm.

Im using the default 'Male Vocal' Preset in podfarm. Jack converters are new, the mic works with only phantom power too. (but it's noisy so i wanna use GX)
Gaz_Ham
Do you have another mic to test if it is your mic that is the issue? Similarly, alternate mic chord and jack convertor, to test if they are faulty. I'm at my limit of expertise, unless some one else has any ideas, you might be best to contact line6, via a support ticket.

I've contacted line6 and the response was: "the GX does not support mic usage.", Though, I didn't expect from them to give a reasonable response. The microphone, cables and jack converters work with Phantom Power supply if I directly plug in to the laptop's microphone input. Quality is good but there's static/hissing noise. Can you tell me your cable setup or maybe sound properties? Do you plug in any cable to the GX's headphone output? I use laptop and it only recognizes it's microphone. Sorry for rushing with my questions. I really need to fix this issue otherwise I'll have to buy an interface with 48V which will cost me about 200$. Gaz_Ham
If line6 haven't designed it to use a mic, I don't think you will get if to work. I use a ux1 with a phantom power unit that powers my condenser mic. I've seen a few older posts saying that they got some results with the gx with a mix with a regular dynamic mic. My second hand ux1 only cosy $80 from eBay.
Triryche
You might get it to work with a mic preamp.
