1.) Does the overdub have to restart after one play of the first loop? Is it possible to keep overdubbing for multiple passes?

2.) Does overdub start as soon as you press or does it wait till the beginning of the first loop?

3.) is there a level threshold to start recording vs press?

1. Not exactly sure what you're asking here... But, yes, the you can keep overdubbing for as many passes you want. The new overdubs just stack onto the previous ones.

2. It starts recording as soon as you press the overdub switch.

3. No... It's just based on the button press.

1.) I should have used the correct terminology. I was asking if the length of the overdub loop could be multiples of the original loop length vs. stack ? 2x 3x 4x 8x ...

4.) Can 2 HX FX units sync loopers?

5.) Is it possible to use an external foot switch to control the overdub in/out?

Thank you for your answers!

I'm very interested in any responses to these questions too.  I have tons of analog gear I won't be able to take with me to australia when I travel and I really rely on my looper.  I'm hoping the HX effects can substitute most of the things I do when I perform solo with a looper.

Do the overdubs stack over the loop or does a 2x loop overdub retain that value?  Is there an undo for overdubs?
