SantaByte
Hi! We need an easy way for a wedding to make a speach without renting a whole PA equipment.I´ve got a Line 6 Pod HD Pro and a Mackie HD1221 for my guitars. As it´s got a mike line in - is it possible to connect a mike and amplify vocals with it? Has anybody done this before? Thanks!Kai
silverhead
You can easily use a mic with the Pod HD Pro. Connect the mic, select it as an Input in the HD Pro preset, adjust the Mic Trim knob, and apply whatever FX you want to the signal chain. Save the preset. When you need to make a speech just select that preset on the HD Pro. If you are using a condenser mic make sure you activate the phantom power on the HD Pro.
