ozbadman
Hi Guys, I know this is not really the right palce for this, but I can't find anything on the web and you guys seem to know what you're talking about. I have a Blackstar HT-Dual and new Vox Straight 6. They are both Hi-Voltage tube overdrives, running off low voltage with a step-up system. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/TGStr6OD?device=c&network=g&matchtype=&gclid=CPfDmJ_noboCFSU6QgodLjkApw I didn't realise until recently that replacing tubes meant having to check/adjust the bias. Is this not necessary on guitar pedals? It seems like it would be necessary but nobody on the web seems to mention it as far as I can find. Any insight? Thanks all. geekpimp
As far as i know only power tubes need biasing not preamp tubes like in you,re ht. You are correct. There is no need to bias pre-amp tubes. Cheers.
