jandrio
You could use the unbalanced 1/4" Outputs Left+Right instead (assuming you are talking abt HD500) Copy from "POD HD500 Quick Start Guide - English ( Rev D )", page 8: 18. Unbalanced Output - connect 1/4" cables here to send your sound to aguitar amplifier, recorder, mixer or PA system. Set the 1/4" out switchon top of your POD HD500 to AMP when sending to a guitar amp orLINE for devices with -10dBV inputs typical of mixers and recorders. 19. Balanced Output - connect balanced XLR cables here for an idealconnection to digital recorders or as direct sends to the house mixer orPA when playing live. If you are experiencing hums and buzzes, set theXLR switch on top of your POD HD500 to LIFT to eliminate groundloops between your equipment
