Hello. I was wondering if I can get some help. I am trying to get a good wah sound from my rig. The problem is that the wah sound is "topping out" when the FBV expression pedal is at about 70%. How can I adjust the amount of wah on custom presets. I can't seem to find where to adjust the wah percentage (from 0%-100%). I have looked through the manual and I must be missing something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this happening with every preset, or just a specific one?

If it's with every preset, I believe what you are encountering might have to do with calibrating the pedal. There should be instructions on calibrating the pedal in the user guide online. This is to let the pedal board know how far up and down the expression pedal can move, to be able to adjust the wah and volume accordingly.

Now I may be mistaken, but I don't remember there being a setting to adjust the amount of "wah" on the expression pedal.

Some people have complained that the wah pedal is not the greatest, and maybe that is the problem you're encountering but IMO I'm pretty satisfied with it.

I think CaliHalo is correct - other than calibrating the pedal itself, there is no way to adjust the amount of wah change when stepping on the pedal itself.  Does this happen will all the various Wah options?

Thanks for the replies. I am beginning to think that what I am hearing is the pitch shifting mode. I seem to remember when I first got the amp that when I tried adjusting the sweep on the expression pedal for the wah, that the pitch shift mode was also affected. I am going over the manual again so I can figure it out. I guess my frustration is that when the pedal is at 100% that the sound is less "wah" and more high pithced.

the "wah" comes from moving the pedal from bass to treble - that's all a wah basically is, a tone control.
