Tremlo Bar Fell Out

Recommended Posts

There is also a very tiny hex "set" screw on the side of the trem bar "holder".  Your smallest hex wrench (1.5mm I believe) will tighten that.  Then your bar won't swing all over and stay in place where you want it.  If that's what you want  as opposed to it freely swinging.

Based on my JTV69S I would say their quality is excellent!  This minor hardware defect I can live with.  The important things are done well on my guitar.  Neck is straight, frets are level, finish is perfect.  I fixed my trem bar in 5 minutes and I have only had it on the guitar a few times since I really don't use it.

I'm generally happy with my JTV69 as well, but ran into the "usual" problems initially:  Strings sliding off the ends of the frets when fingered near the top of the neck and a model/mag switch that quickly become intermittent.  Solved the first one by swapping in a MightyMite strat neck and the second with a small shim.

If you want sophisticated modeling, Line6 is really the only non-Midi game in town.  But that still does not excuse the lack of quality control. If I didn't basically like the instrument so much, I wouldn't bother raising issues.  The fact that so much is right about it just makes the annoyances that much more obvious.
