So about 7/8 years ago I purchased a Toneport UX1 with the gearbox software, I'm now looking to move onto a UX2 as it'd make life easier jamming with friends - my query being, can I use a POD STUDIO UX2 with Gearbox or will I have to purchase an old UX2? TheRealZap Posted November 12, 2013 Share Posted November 12, 2013 yes you can use it with gearbox standalone gearbox plugin is no longer supported but ... both units do qualify for a free upgrade to the latest pod farm version 1 also. (and a new unit would come with a license for pod farm 2) the tones from gearbox work in pod farm, so it should primarily be a difference in the interface. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
