Mitsou21
Hey I bought a pod HD 500 and i wanted to know how to connect it to a Spider III amp (75w), the cables to use, and then the settings to efectuate. (Sorry for my english, I am french) Thank you
boyce89976
I think the only way to connect to the Spider is through the front 1/4" input or through the effects loop.
AParedes
Try connecting the HD500 to the Spider III 75 using the 1/4" guitar input jack, then setting the Spider III75 to a "clean" setting with no effects, that way the POD is controlling everything. Alternately - you can connect using the 3.5mm headphone jack and use the Spider III75 as a "powered speaker". Just to clarify - the Spider III series does not have an effect loop (but the sister product Spider Valve did).
moogary
For my Spider II, I power up holding the Tap button and it bypasses the emulation. I then use my POD to manipulate the tones/effects.
