Bought Used Pod Studio Ux1, Can't Authorize Pod Farm

Recommended Posts

Hi all new here, please help

I have looked through the forums for this topic and found lots of information but cannot find a definitive answer.

I just bought a used pod studio UX1 on ebay. I have downloaded the most recent versions of Monkey, License Manager and Pod Farm, and have authorised my computer and the UX1.

However, I can only get Pod Farm to work in trial mode. Does a secondhand UX1 carry with it the authorisation to use Pod Farm 2.5? Or will I need to purchase a separate license key in order to use the full version of the software? There seem to be conflicting answers on the forums.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

I am running mac osx mavericks and it appears pod farm 1 has not been updated further than lion.

Do you know if it will still work or am I left with the choice of either running the trial version of pod farm 2.5 or paying for a new license?

i've seen some posts that indicate that it should work...

some users have had to use older drivers though.

Thanks

Before resorting to pod farm 1, I tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing both my computer and the ux1.

Now when I open pod farm 2, it comes up with the following dialogue:

UX1 Not Authorized for this Computer

POD Farm 2 has found a valid license on your UX1,

but you need to run the Line 6 License Manager to

allow POD Farm 2 to be run on this computer with

your UX1 (no additional purchase is necessary).

But when I open the license manager, there doesn't seem to be any option to allow pod farm 2 to run.

I have tried deauthorizing and reauthorizing the computer again but to no avail, but the fact I have made this much

progress suggests there must be a way to get it working without purchasing a new license.

judging from the other posts on the forum line6 servers are having issues perhaps...

but you probably just don't understand the answer...  because if you are clearly having the same issue...

then the same answer clearly applies...

i am clearly having the same problem. Guru you must not understand the question.
