archisc
I am interested in buying 59 or 69 for modeling sound. Since the bodies are different, do models sound different comparing the 2? I will use both electric and acoustic models.
TheRealZap
the models are tuned to the body/style of the guitar... so not really any difference... that's not to say you won't hear one... afterall you might play slightly different etc on the different style guitars... i know i do... so it makes a different in my playing it makes a difference in the sound... but that's not really a difference in the modeling!

Do you know this for sure? That's awesome if they actually do that. I made a topic a while ago asking if there's any difference because of body/scale/stuff and if the firmware calibrates the models to the specific JTV model. TheRealZap
I'm pretty confident, but was not told any specifics that i could cite.
Charlie_Watt
The 59 and 69 are very different guitars so you should buy the one you like to play. Scale length is a big deal in my opinion. I am a fan of the 69 style and scale length.
Leftzilla
I have a 59 and 89f and there are subtle differences between the two that I personally think is more due to the physical differences than say graphtec vs lr baggs piezos. Recorded modeling is virtually indistinguishable between the two.
