Elbutcho1
I purchased a POD Studio UX1 and really like some of the tones. Do any of the Line 6 amps have the same presets? Also can the line 6 amps (heads or combos) be connected to your PC so you can create you own tones bu picking amps, cabs and effects? Thanks
fflbrgst
The presets for PODs and Spider amps all have different names, so no way (other than experiementing) which ones are the same/similar. All the Spider IV amps from 75 up (not the 15 or 30) can connect to a computer using the FBV MkII Express or FBV Mkll Shortboard and a USB cable and Spider Edit software on your computer. You can adjust all the amp parameters 'live' in Spider Edit, or download presets from other users from the Customtone part of this website, and load them into your User Patch locations on the amp. So you can edit the presets using Spider Edit software on your computer then save it on the amp to create a new patch. The Digi 1101 lets you edit the existing and save tehm in a user area on the 1101..........same thing yes?
fflbrgst
Yes, you save to the User Patch locations. Note that when yu do this, you write over any existing patch in that location - but you have 64 locations available!
