The one I was given says "traynor" on it. I assume from an amp, which would make me think it is a latch. I don't know my switches, but a latching stays on with a click until you click it again? Momentary stays on only for the "moment" it is depressed? Hence the names? Would a sustain pedal from an electronic keyboard be more what I need?
I think my salesman got it wrong?
I too am interested in getting a switch for my M20d. Does Line 6 offer a model?
Also, I do not understand how a "momentary" switch would be useful since it seems you would have to hold it down (depressed) to activate the signal. Once you release it, the signal would stop. Is this correct? If so, I do not want to have to continuously hold the switch down. I would rather press it once to use the signal, and press it again to discontinue the signal. Can you help clarify how this type of switch actually works?
